Czech Television debut for The Sorrowful Putto of Prague
It’s been a fantastic month for The Sorrowful Putto of Prague. Firstly, I was lucky enough to attend and speak at the excellent KomiksFEST! in Prague.
It was a real honour to be there and something I’ll be blogging about that in the very near future (along with some hugely humbling news about the Putto coming to the printed page).
As part of my promotional activity for Komiksfest I appeared on Česká televize (state broadcasters) to talk about The Putto. The interview was arranged by the fantastic Petr Onufer of Argo.
The interview can be watched here (link). Don’t worry if you don’t speak Czech, the main interview with me is in English as my Czech language skills not quite comprehensive enough to wax lyrical about alcoholic, depressed baroque angels. Was wonderful to see AJ Bernardo’s artwork gracing the television boxes of The Republic.
It’s hopefully the start of a very busy twelve months for The Putto in The Republic and the start of a lot of long-term dreams coming true. I’ll expand on that very shortly in my blog on Komiksfest, so be sure to come back to find our more.
Thanks to Kateřina Bílková and Ondrej Koutsky of Ceska Televize for the piece and Petr Onufer of Argo for arranging.
Slávu republice!
